Welcome to Hoor News, where travel isn’t just a trip—it’s a celebration of life’s brightest moments. We’re a travel journal and media platform dedicated to sharing stories that make your heart race with wanderlust. No crises, no politics, just the kind of tales that have you googling flights by the second paragraph. From new eco-lodges under Iceland’s northern lights to a solo traveler finding their spark in Oaxaca’s markets, we’re here to inspire your next adventure with positivity and passion.
Hoor News was born in 2023, over a campfire chat between a group of travel-obsessed friends in a Colorado campground. We were tired of newsfeeds full of gloom—wars, cancellations, chaos. Where were the stories of joy? The ones about a Berber guide sharing desert legends, or a burned-out lawyer finding freedom on Costa Rica’s waves? We wanted a space for those moments—the ones that make you feel alive.
Positivity:
We focus on the good—stories that uplift, inspire, and make you wanna jump on a plane.
Authenticity:
No polished PR fluff. Our tales are gritty, human, and real, from wipeouts on Costa Rican waves to lost passports in Morocco.
Sustainability:
We champion travel that treads lightly, supporting eco-initiatives and local communities.
Inclusivity:
Whether you’re a solo backpacker, a family on a budget, or a retiree chasing sunsets, there’s a story here for you.
We’re a scrappy bunch, fueled by coffee and a love for the road. Our founder, a former journalist who once hitchhiked across New Zealand, leads a team of 12, including a photographer who’s shot everything from Saharan dunes to Kyoto temples. Our writers are travelers first—some are digital nomads, others are locals sharing their hometowns.
